this is not a movie about sex.
this is a movie about addiction.
how something that is supposed to give you pleasure ends up giving you pain.
i haven't watched the movie. but i really love the trailer.
it'd be even more perfect if they'd leave out the 'reviews'. just Fassbender running, and panting (allusion to sex most probably, re: his addiction), and him looking down in shame, as the title appears on screen.

watched this before. it was good. re-watched it. it was great.
and this isn't a remake. it is a reboot. seriously, one of the cleverest, smartest, freshest, reboots of all time. and now, the possibilities are endless. like their journey into space, that final frontier.
(only thing it lacks, one that it sorely lacks, is a great villain.)

i've finished reading Steve Jobs's bio. i'm thinking he's kind of a Yoda/Vader character all mashed up together. he has his ideals, he has his demons, but it's ok cos that's human.
i've watched a great movie, probably the coolest movie of the year. it's called attack the block. gangsters vs aliens - shitty premise. but a freaking joyride. cool shots. cool soundtrack. coolest building ever featured with the coolest lift indicator i've ever seen.
there are cliches but they are forgiven.
